We start by finding out exactly where your child is now, their strengths, and where they're getting stuck. This is teacher assessed.

Bespoke plan
Every piece of work is chosen and adapted specifically for your child - done on paper, never a generic workbook. Where children excel, they are given the tools and skills to get ahead, whereas students who struggle are provided the scaffolding to move forward. Every student matters.
Step 3
Ongoing adjustment
As your child progresses, their plan evolves with them. Time is not wasted on concepts they've already secured.

11+ preparation covering mathematics, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, comprehension, 11+ vocabulary, creative writing and exam skills.
GCSE English tuition covering Language and Literature, with most students progressing by at least 3 full grades.
Our Key Stage Three tuition provides the foundation skills essential for GCSE success.
Personalised English and maths tuition, including SATs preparation. Over 90% of our students move up sets and groups, as well as growing in confidence.
Creative Writing
Creative writing tuition geared towards teaching the essential skills and writing fluency required for passing exams- both 11+ and GCSE.
Our Story
EmpowerEd Tuition was born from the belief that every child deserves to be successful.
After many years as a very popular and successful teacher, our founder, Shaista, saw first-hand that great learning and exam success came from versatile, personalised teaching, adapted resources, strong teaching and assessment expertise, and the ability to build confidence and inspire students.
At EmpowerEd, we have perfected that methodology. Our lessons are carefully designed around the individual needs of our students, with a strong emphasis on building both skills and confidence in their ability and, in some cases restoring confidence and skills!
Our results speak for themselves. Across all subjects, students have made significant progress academically, and in their confidence. Primary pupils have progress from Working Towards to Expected and Expected to Greater Depth, as well as attaining coveted selective-school places. GCSE students move on average 3 grades. The earlier they start, the more progress they make!
